Event description

Description

In this session Justine Harris will look at PR and communications in an ‘always on’ world; how being more transparent about the way your client’s company works and the decisions it takes can protect and enhance their reputation while building trust with key stakeholders. We will explore the difference between crisis PR and meaningful corporate transparency. Participants will be given practical examples of how enhancing corporate disclosures around issues of significant public interest can build reputation.

After completing this session the participant should be able to:

- Understand the role of corporate transparency as part of a communications strategy

- Identify issues of relevance and build internal consensus and comfort with this approach

- Utilise corporate transparency to enhance relationships with external stakeholders

All profits from our Summer Stars lectures go to funding our mission of improving diversity in the PR industry.
