Is The Roopftop Farm accessible?

The farm is located on the roof of Wimbledon Quarter and access is via a metal staircase. Therefore, with much regret, the event won’t be suitable for all.

How long will the tour last?

Each tour has 1 hour allocated to it to ensure there is enough time to explore the vegetable garden, mushroom growing room and ask our urban farmer, James, any questions you may have.

Where do we meet for the tour?

The meeting point for these tours will be outside The Fire Station Café, located on Queens Road opposite the entrance to the Police Station.

Is there a minimum age for the tour?

Currently, the tours are for participants aged 16 and over. We are looking into whether younger children, accompanied by an adult, are able to attend and this page will be updated to reflect that in due course. We appreciate your understanding!

Question 5

Will we get to visit the bees?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, our bees are hidden away on the roof in a location inaccessible to the public and so you won't be visiting these on your tour.
