The Room - Premiere performance event
Fri 14 April 2017, 19:30 – 21:00 BST
"Thought provoking, clever, technical, raw and passionate. Loved it." - Audience member.
A visually arresting, poignant and socially relevant piece of work, The Room has been created to explore LGBTQ identities and challenge, head on, the discrimination and hatred directed towards people that are just trying to be the truest versions of themselves.
Drawing from personal accounts of coming out (or not) and dealing with it, this solo performance work combines dance, theatre and performance enhancing technologies to an original score.
