About this event

As Principal Director of Music and on behalf of the Royal Marines Band Service, I would like to invite you to this year’s reunion weekend.
The wider RMBS family of which you are all part of, is incredibly important to us, and we warmly welcome serving, former serving and their family members to join us to celebrate our shared heritage.
On Saturday evening you will witness the talented young musicians and buglers from the Royal Marines School of Music as well as catching up with old oppos in the bar.
We are moving venue this year due to major building work in HMS Nelson. We will still be in HM Naval Base Portsmouth, but in the RN Reserve facility at HMS King Alfred. It’s close to the historic dockyard and with good transport links and offers us all the facilities we need. It also allows us to reduce the price of tickets, which I’m sure you’ll appreciate!

Unfortunately there are no parking facilities, so please find alternative parking prior to arriving.
Yes, it is very important that you bring a copy of your ticket with you. Preferably, please have your e-ticket on your phone. Alternatively, please have a printed copy of your e-ticket. FAILING TO SHOW A VALID E-TICKET WILL RESULT IN ACCESSING BEING REFUSED.

No the memorial service is not a ticketed event and it is free to attend. Seating will not be allocated and is first come first serve basis.
