Join us for a powerful day of conversation, culture, and celebration.

Kicking off with a thought-provoking session on Partition led by acclaimed artist and author Sabba Khan, followed by performances by Rajinder Sagoo, a beloved Newham resident since the 1960s, and Surinder Kaur, celebrated Punjabi film singer.

The programme culminates in a special tribute to Mohammed Rafi, honouring community through collective cultural memory and sound.

Take a seat at one of five interactive tables and share your story about how films, music, fashion, food and early days in the UK shaped you.

Adding to the celebratory atmosphere, six henna artists will be on hand throughout the day offering traditional designs.
