Description
This is a three hour course (including the exam) and is designed to meet the requirements of the following groups of people:-
Both full and part-time staff who serve alcohol in the on and off trade. This means it covers the legal requirements for training people who work in:- pubs, clubs, hotels, restaurants, shops, off-licences and supermarkets.
The course covers the following areas:-

Introduction to licencing and the law.

The responsible operation of licenced premises.,

The effect of irresponsible operation on society and health.
This qualification meets the requirements of the Licensing - Training of Staff (Scotland) Regulations 2007. In reality this means that anyone serving or selling alcohol to the public requires this level of qualification by law.
