The Same Faces are an improvised comedy group, consisting of Tom Young (founder/director), Allan Smith, and Dave Gotheridge.
If you've ever seen Whose Line Is It Anyway? then you'll already have an idea of what we do. If you haven't, we perform short-form improvisation, taking ideas from you to form brilliant comedy sketches live on stage. You can see many hilarious examples on our youtube page.
At each of our shows, we're joined by two guest performers, who come from across the country to improvise with us. Our extended roster includes our semi-regular players such as Jaz Cox, Jen Kenny, Jim Shields, Ryan Vernel, Tom Lawrence, Safia Lamrani, Kierann Shah, and Mike Brown (a founding member who moved to Edinburgh).
Entry is JUST £7 on the door (reduced to £5 if you reserve your seats in advance).
DOORS OPEN AT 8PM
Our Leicester gigs are always on the first Saturday of the month, so if you can't make this show, come to the next one; same time, same place, different month! We also have a second monthly show in Leicester, called Uncle Armando; it happens on Monday nights, and you can find out more about this via the venue's website.
