About this event

In this session, we’ll cover the range of services we provide, including school uniform packs, camp packs, and preschool packs.

We'll explain what each pack contains, who can make referrals, and how to refer a young person to our service.

We’ll also cover:

  • Community engagement – including our uniform rails in schools and community groups, and our recycling bins across West Lothian. We’ll outline what can be donated, such as school clothes, jackets, Halloween costumes, Christmas jumpers, and football boots.
  • Poverty in classrooms – a brief discussion on the level of poverty many young people are experiencing, and the importance of recognising signs that a child may need support (e.g. not taking part in PE due to lack of kit).
  • Our key appeals – an overview of our two major annual campaigns: the Summer Uniform Drive and the Winter Jacket Appeal.
  • Ways to support us – including participating in the Kiltwalk, becoming a corporate partner, or engaging with other fundraising opportunities.
