IMPORTANT! for all courses please read.
Please note that one ticket purchased equates to one participant attending, NOT one setting.
Please DO NOT attend if you have not purchased a ticket.
When booking your ticket, please ensure your correct name and email address is accurately inputted when Eventbrite asks you to enter the details for ‘Ticket 1’ as this is where all details, possibly any handouts is sent.
On the day before the training, a register is taken from the Eventbrite booking list and this will be checked at the training event by looking at the participant list. Anyone not on the register, therefore having not purchased a ticket will be removed from the training event.
If another delegate will be attending instead of those originally booked on, please amend this on Eventbrite, but if this is short notice, please email cs.eys@derbyshire.gov.uk so we can amend our register before the course begins.
By signing up to this course you are providing your consent to the email address you provide at the point of booking being shared with the training provider to enable the trainer to contact you regarding this specific course, if required.
Booking and Cancellation Policy: For all courses and events, this includes both free training and events, and those with a booking charge:
*Places can still be cancelled on Eventbrite, with refunds offered, up to 30 days prior to the course/event taking place if you know that you are unable to attend. Please be aware that the amount refunded will be the ticket price minus the Eventbrite booking fee. This fee varies depending on course price.
If you need to cancel your place on ANY course, within 30 days of the course starting, please email cs.eys@derbyshire.gov.uk so we can amend our register, and possibly offer the place to another person should there be a waiting list.
*Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any refund if you cancel a place after the 30 days cancellation offer has ended.
Non-Attendance: If a delegate does not attend, including FREE training, and we have not been informed, this will be noted and we may get in touch with you about future bookings. To ensure the Early Years Team are able to continue to offer subsidised training and sometimes free training, we ask you to please be respectful of this. We often have waiting lists, and non-attendance prevents others from attending.
Unfortunately, we may have to consider charging a nominal fee for FREE courses and increasing our very competitive prices on all other training if this continues to be an issue.
Thank you for your support in this matter as this will enable us to continue to offer a wide range of training opportunities at a competitive price for all.
Please email cs.eys@derbyshire.gov.uk for any further information.
