Cannabis has been used for Millennia as a medicinal treatment, and is increasingly discussed as a potential tool for managing ADHD symptoms. But what does the science actually say? In a world full of myths, misinformation, and personal anecdotes everywhere, this 2-hour interactive workshop offers a clear, evidence-based exploration of cannabis and its relationship with ADHD.
Led by Professor James Brown, this session will draw on current research to explore the benefits and risks as well as the legal and medical landscape of cannabis use. Whether you are newly diagnosed, supporting someone with ADHD, or working in health or education, this session is designed to empower you with the knowledge and tools to walk away with a clearer sense of how cannabis may (or may not) fit into your ADHD journey.
Workshop Highlights:
- Learn the benefits and real risks of cannabis use in ADHD, backed by evidence-based research and an in-depth review of the latest studies
- Explore the neurobiology and science associated with cannabis use
- Discover ways to make informed decisions about cannabis use and its effects on the ADHD brain
- Engage in an open discussion with ADHD Coach and Co-founder of ADHDadultUK, Professor James Brown
