Fibroids affect up to 1 in 3 women by the age of 50, but many remain unaware they have them. In this empowering workshop, Dr Milli Raizada will demystify the science of fibroids – what they are, why they develop, and how hormones, inflammation, genetics and gut health can influence their growth. She’ll explore why symptoms like heavy periods, bloating, pelvic pain, fatigue, and even bladder pressure are often dismissed or misunderstood, and how to recognise when they might be signalling something deeper.
This session will cover the latest in both conventional medicine and natural therapies – from hormone treatments and surgical options to nutritional and lifestyle changes – equipping you with the tools and confidence to support your health.
Workshop Highlights:
- Understand what fibroids are, why they form, and what factors influence their growth
- Recognise symptoms that may be overlooked and when to seek help
- Explore the latest medical treatments and natural strategies
- Gain practical tools to manage fibroids
