What if the behaviour and response you have, did not start with you?
We now have the research and evidence, that responses to trauma can be inherited and passed down through generations. Systemic trauma such as the impacts of racism, war, displacement and family tragedy all leave their invisible marks in our DNA and nervous systems. But what does this mean for us? How does this show up and what can we do about it?
In this talk, Dr Susanna Petche explores the science behind trauma and how it can show up in our bodies and behaviours years, even generations later and importantly, what we can do about it.
Doors open at 7pm, talk starts at 7.30pm - come down early to grab a good seat!
