About this Event

In a world where increasing emphasis is put on knowledge, where do we place our science practicals? This course looks at the critical role of science practicals and how to build them into learning sequences to maximise learning in science. You will leave the course with the ability to maximise science results by using practical work in a highly effective way.

The tutor

Tim Mullis is subject specialist leader for science at the Inspiration Trust. He was born in north Devon and studied physics at University of Kent, prior to a Masters in communication systems engineering. He gained his PGCE at the University of Bath, before working in schools across Norfolk and Suffolk. He has worked extensively for the OCR examination board and as an examiner, chief examiner, and test writer for vocational science qualifications, and edited revision guides for Pearson.
