How can creative businesses support the UN sustainable development goals?
About this event
The decade in front of us might just be the most important and consequential in human history.
The UN has adopted a system of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that by 2030 all people enjoy peace and prosperity. It’s all well and good to have 17 SDGs identified – but how can we put these into action in the creative industries, and make sure that we are leading in the force for good?
This session will explore the creative economy as a powerful tool to combat social inequalities and help build the sustainable, inclusive, and equitable societies that are essential for the future of our planet – offering practical advice to creative business owners to learn what we can all do in the everyday activities of our businesses to support the UN’s SDGs.
