Prof Malcolm Coe, Emeritus Professor of Astrophysics, University of Southampton will lead us through the intricacies of seeking evidence for life beyond our own planet. He will discuss recent results that suggest fascinating possibilities for life existing elsewhere in the Universe. Part of the story will also be a brief look into the very early origins of life on the Earth, and how we can apply this knowledge to identify potential cradles of life in the farthest reaches of the Universe.
