With our first Glow Worm Hunt selling out, and many people asking if we'd run a second, we have decided to have another on on Saturday 9th August! Please note the earlier start time of 9pm, and also that we can only run this if we have a minimum of 10 people booked on. So if you want to come, book early and get your friends to join you!
We are lucky enough to have many glow worms living on our land, and we would like to share the magic of these creatures with you all. Come and join us on a night time hunt and see how many we can find.
Start the evening with a hot chocolate and piece of cake while we discuss the lifecycle and ecology of glow worms, and then adventure into the dark to spot the bright green lights that hide in the vegetation.
Please note, while my experience of previous years tells me we should see a fair few, I don't guarantee that there will be any out on this particular night.
Remember to wear good footwear and weather appropriate clothing. Please bring a torch with you for safety, although I will ask that these are only used in particular need. Due to the nature of the walk, please ensure that you bring no more than two children per adult (although contact us if you wish to discuss this). Dogs welcome if well behaved and on leads.
