Unless there is a threat to life (and electricity), we tend to keep going. Bring your waterproofs.  We take a final decision 2 hours before the event starts. If we have to cancel before we start because of weather, we will offer refunds or transfer of tickets to a rescheduled event

Some events and activities during the summer season take place under the stretch tent on the lawn. This gives shelter from hot sun and rain. The tent is usually open-sided so it is not enclosed. Some larger events have audiences that are bigger than the tent - please always assume

Yes...What's a garden without picnics? Our cafe/food and bar are very reasonably priced. Buying from us keeps the price of the concert tickets down . Please help us out by choosing to buy onsite.

About us

The Gardens are owned and run by a small independent charitable trust. We are tiny, but have a very big responsibility to keep and share(!) this unique and important survival of a 350 year old formal Garden and Parkland. The Trust does not receive any regular funding....your visit helps
