About this event
The dormouse is one of Britain's rarest mammals. It lives and nests in woodland and hedgerows, much of which has been lost in recent years. This adorable species has already become extinct from counties across the UK.
Discover the secretive life of the dormouse with Dorset Wildlife Trust expert, Living Landscapes Ecologist Steve Masters, who has been at the forefront of surveying this elusive species in Dorset.
In this member’s online talk you will learn about the importance of dormice in wildlife conservation and the work that is being done to protect them. The evening will begin with a welcome from Chief Executive Brian Bleese, ending with an opportunity to ask questions at the Q&A.
