Love afternoon tea with a glass of bubbly? How about having your hair and make-up styled in any era's fashion you desire? What about the Charleston - ever fancied learning it or just watching other people do it while you sip tea and eat cake? Then come to the third Secret Tea Party on 4th June in Central Bath - you will love it!
Doors open at 12.30pm. You'll receive a glass of bubbly courtesy of Bath's best-loved vintage clothes store, Vintage to Vogue when you arrive, when you will also choose your tea table and put your name down for hair and make-up styling by the Pop Up Parlour team if you haven't pre-booked. Dance Duo Hoppin' Mad will then perform and then run a short workshop for those who want to get involved. Tea will then be served on Mrs Stokes' vintage china and afterwards, everyone will have the chance to join in and dance and work off that cake. Plus Vintage to Vogue will be there running complimentary fashion and styling sessions, The Pop Up Parlour will be styling hair and make-up for an extra fee on the day (from £8) and there will be vintage treasures to buy from Mrs Stokes. Plus there will be a super-special raffle with gifts to win including a teaset from Mrs Stokes and a vintage fashion gift from Vintage to Vogue. And the whole do will be hosted by Bath's favourite alternative compere, Countess Arseppi. Perfect for stylish dates, hen dos and girly get-togethers.
Come dressed up if you wish and wear your dancing shoes. Those flapper girls wore shoes with stout heels by the way, just in case you want to dance but were confused about footwear...
