Do I need to have read the whole book before the group starts?

No — we read together week by week. You’ll receive a reading schedule and discussion themes in advance.

What happens in the sessions?

Each session includes a gentle check-in, discussion of 1–2 chapters, space for reflection, and a check-out. It’s peer-led with light facilitation.

How big is the group?

The group is intentionally limited to 8 people to ensure a safe, supportive, and connected experience.

Do I have to share personal experiences?

You’re welcome to share as much or as little as feels right for you. Listening is just as valuable as speaking. No pressure — always choice.

Is this therapy?

This is not group therapy, but it is a therapeutic, reflective space. It's designed to support self-awareness and connection through reading and discussion.

What if I miss a session?

We understand that life happens! It would be helpful if you could catch up on reading before attending the next session to maintain the flow of the process group. Though the richest experience comes from attending them all

Can I join if I’ve never been in a group like this before?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Many of our participants are new to therapeutic groups. You’ll be welcomed warmly and guided gently throughout.

What is a process group?

Is the venue wheelchair friendly

Unfortunately, the venue is not wheelchair accessible due to stairs. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Can I join the group after it has started?

No, to keep the group experience consistent and supportive for everyone, new members can only join at the beginning of the series.
