Event description

Description

The Selvedge World Fair will launch its inaugural festival celebrating cloth, culture and creativity in Bloomsbury, London. Held over 3 days within the historically significant Mary Ward House, a curated group of the world’s master artisans will join together to share their passion for textiles. Expect indigo dyers from Japan, baskets makers from Swaziland, and rug weavers from Uzbekistan and many more. At the event, the master artisans will take part in a programme of presentations, offering the chance for guests to hear their stories and learn of the importance of their crafts in their home countries and to indulge in a little retail therapy. There will also be a range of talks and workshops.

Please note demonstrations are complimentary with all tickets however workshops and talks will have to be booked separately. Full workshop & talks programme coming soon.
