An online sewing community event, with video talks from bloggers & indie businesses
About this event
For the past four years, The Sewing Weekender (organised by The Fold Line & Charlotte of English Girl at Home), hosted in Cambridge, UK, has welcomed around 90 attendees in-person for a weekend of informal sewing, socialising, workshops and talks.
This year the event is moving online, with all profits from the event being donated to four charities:
How to take part
The Weekender is an informal community sewing event.
To join in, simply work on a sewing project of your choice in your own home over the weekend of the 13th - 14th June. Share your plans and progress with other attendees using the hashtag #sewingweekender
By purchasing a ticket, you'll gain access to inspiring video talks and messages from sewing bloggers and independent businesses, to keep you entertained while you sew, plus a digital goodie bag with discounts from independent sewing businesses.
You'll also be making a contribution to two important charities.
