Join Studio Cultivate for a unique exploration of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Utilising the beautiful Southwark Cathedral and dramatic Bankside area as a fantastical stage set, Studio Cultivate will investigate Oberon and Puck’s use of plants in creating much woodland mischief.
The intention of this unique project is to celebrate Shakespeare’s world of plants through a series of fun and engaging workshops.
Each workshop focuses on story telling and plant studies and uses Shakespearean themes of apothecary, potions and poisons, medicines and maladies as a catalyst for exploring a specific garden space.
These workshops are recommended for children aged 7 +
Tickets £7.00 per adult and children free. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult and no more than three children per paying adult.
This day includes a one hour lunchbreak, ticket holders to bring their own lunch or you can visit the Cathedral Refectory. There are also a number of places to eat locally including Borough Market.

When & Where
Southwark Cathedral, which is the oldest gothic church in London, lies on the South Bank of the River Thames close to London Bridge on a site occupied by a Church for over one thousand years. The main structure of today's church was built between 1220 and 1420.
The Cathedral is also the mother church of the Anglican Diocese of Southwark and has seen all history throughout the ages past. As a result we welcome everyone from any background.
