REFUGEE FESTIVAL CELEBRATION
Kairos Kitchen are delighted to be celebrating the lives of refugees in Renfrewshire for Refugee Festival Scotland 2025 at Kairos Women+ we will gather not only to share stories, engage and learn, but also to savour the rich and diverse flavours from different parts of the world. Today, food is our common language — a wonderful reminder that no matter where we come from, the act of cooking, sharing, and eating together connects us in the most human way.
The festival theme for this year 'Milestones', honours the incredible resilience, creativity, and contributions of refugees in our communities whilst acknowledging ongoing challenges
Through every dish served, you’ll taste a piece of someone’s journey — a recipe passed down through generations, a new take on tradition, or a cherished memory brought to life.
Let’s take this opportunity to celebrate the cultures that make our society vibrant, and to recognise the power of food not just to nourish us, but to unite us.
This event is open to all, please bring friends, family, partners - everyone welcome for this exciting celebration! We are fundraising for the future of the Kairos Kitchen project, so please pay for a ticket if you can afford to.
