The Shelley Conference will celebrate the life, works, and afterlives of Percy Bysshe Shelley on the bicentenary of his death.
About this event
Following the success of the 2017 Shelley Conference, the Shelley Conference returns in 2022 to celebrate the life, works, and afterlives of Percy Bysshe Shelley during the bicentenary of his death.
This two-day conference will feature keynote lectures by Professor Emeritus Nora Crook and Professor Michael Rossington along with paper panels.
The Shelley Conference will be held in the Grade I Regency villa in Hampstead, London that was famously home to Shelley's contemporary, John Keats, from 1818-1820. Keats House will be closed to the public for the duration of the conference, allowing for an intimate audience with Shelley scholars and admirers on the bicentenary of his death.
