The Short Cinema 2018 BFI NETWORK Talent Mixer

BFI Network brings together the UK’S film agencies to discover, develop and fund new and emerging writers, directors and producers.

On Wednesday 22 August, The Short Cinema, BFI NETWORK and Phoenix will be holding a networking event in the Phoenix Courtyard suites, enabling film-makers and other like-minded creatives to meet, engage, discuss projects and the exciting Phoenix 2020 development plans.

It will also be a chance to find out more about NETWORK and the two new funds that have been put in place to ensure that inspiring new voices are heard, and the next generation of unique cinematic stories have the chance to be told.

Following the networking session, we will be screening NETWORK funded shorts, giving talent the chance to see what funders have taken risks on in the past and gauge the level of quality expected from funded work. Tickets for this screening can be booked here.
