It'll take more than a pandemic to stop us creating a Mentally Fit York...
The coronavirus pandemic has meant that we’ve needed to cancel The Great York Walk 2020. But while the event is over for this year, the need for on the ground interventions and groundbreaking research into mental health is higher than ever before.
Wherever you are in the world, please join us from 31 May and walk the 25 miles that would have made up our route in a series of Short York Walks with your households over the course of 7, 14 or 25 days!
It's easy to get involved...
- Sign up for FREE, either by yourself, or with a team of friends, colleagues or household members by clicking REGISTER at the top of this page
- Set up your fundraising page on YuStart and start sharing your page with family, friends and colleagues
- Complete your 25 miles from 31 May and keep us in the loop with your progress by using #ShortYorkWalk and tagging us @UoYAlumni!
Every penny you raise through taking part will go towards on the ground interventions and the latest groundbreaking research into mental health through Mentally Fit York.
