An exploration and unpacking of the concept of “questioning”, followed by some exercises to help you feel more comfortable being unsure
About this event
With such pressure to label and identify it leaves anyone who isn't 100% certain in a rough spot.
The word Questioning has grown some negative connotations, how can we all get more comfortable with not being sure? with existing within the space of not knowing, between two things or outside of those things altogether.
There are so many things outside of our control, one thing we think we can control is our identity, how we present ourselves, who we connect with. To not have a direction in this area can feel stressful, how can we confidently face uncertainty?
This workshop will explore what it means to be Questioning, unpack the negative connotations attached to the word and see how it can be more comfortable to use. We will challenge our need for certainty and increase our comfort in discomfort, through discussion, exercises and role play.
You can expect a gently guided workshop from a counsellor (Shumi) matchmaker (Kim) and a room full of lovely people to work through this topic with.
If you're running late, please come anyway, late arrivals are always welcome, and feel free to bring along friends if you're shy to come alone.
See you there!
