About this event

The Silly Sentence Club is a joyful, pressure-free online writing club for children aged 8–12(ish) who find English lessons tricky or have lost their confidence with reading and writing.

Through silly prompts, ridiculous stories, and imagination-fuelled games, these weekly Zoom sessions are designed to help children fall back in love with words—without any pressure to get things “right.”

Whether your child finds reading hard, avoids writing tasks, or just doesn’t enjoy English at school, this club is all about bringing the fun back. We focus on creativity, confidence, and laughter—helping children express themselves in their own brilliant, bonkers voices.

Sessions are 1 hour long and just £2 each. Come join the silliness!
