WHAT IS THE SITDOWN?

Since 2017, The Sitdown has been a bi-monthly live Q&A event, with the sole purpose of unpacking the life stories of inspiring individuals in the creative and business community.

Past guest include Mo Gilligan, Bianca Saunders, Grace Ladoja MBE, Shola Ama, Sheniece Charway, JME, Kelechi Okafor plus many more.

We hope to create a safe and engaging space for honest conversations and life education through shared experiences.

Is there parking available?

Unfortunately no parking onsite, but nearby paid parking available on LEAKE ST.

Is there a dress code for the event?

There’s no strict dress code but we recommend coming smart casual with your own personal flair.

Will I be able to ask Dean Forbes a question?

Yes! There will be an audience Q&A segment where guests can submit questions on the night.

What time should I arrive?

Doors open at 5:30PM for networking and refreshments. We highly recommend arriving early to get settled, grab a drink, and soak up the atmosphere before the main event kicks off at 6:15PM sharp.

Is there an age restriction for this event?

Yes, this event is strictly for attendees 16 and over.

Can I get a refund if I can’t attend?

Unfortunately, all ticket purchases are non-refundable. You’re welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend or colleague if you’re unable to make it just email us at [thesitdownuk@gmail.com] with their details at least 24 hours before the event
