The Small Wood Play Sessions - Toddler Forest School

A session to connect you and your children with nature and the elements. This is a free play session so please take the lead from your child. Suitable for toddlers to age six. No charge for babes in arms.

• Mud Laboratory - will be in full swing so that your children can experiment, mix and create potions and feasts.
• The Craft Box - available so that you (and/or) your child can make seasonal crafts from what we find in the wood.
• The Wood - we will care for the wood, linking our activities with the seasons. This may be planting, pruning or creating spaces.
• The Fire - if it cold we will have the fire lit so that you can warm up, sit and gaze at it or maybe cook some simple food.
• The Eco-Park - we may go on walks and expeditions around the site if there are no weddings and conferences on that day.
• Comfort - there are compost loos on site and we will always have the kettle ready to go with tea, coffee and fruit teas. Please feel free to bring snacks.
• Photos - by all means take photos of your child. Please ask other parent's permission if their child is in shot.

Please dress for the weather, we are in the open. We will run whatever the weather unless there is deep snow or gale force winds, in which case I will offer a refund or carry your ticket over to the next session. If I cancel I will email you before 9am.

Parking - please come into the Eco-park gate and turn immediately right to park in the overflow carpark.I will be there to meet and greet. If you are a little late please walk towards the field, turn left in front of the buildings and we are at the end on the right handside before the camping field.

Tickets - price per person but buy a 'family' ticket if you are coming with a friend. This slightly avoids the Eventbrite fee. Two adults with three children between them would be a 'Family of Five' I can not take payment on site - please pay via Eventbrite. Ticket sales end an hour before the session starts.
