The Social Innovation Breakfast Club: 2
Join us for the second meet up of the Breakfast Club, a chance to get together with fellow social innovators over coffee and croissants.
We're really excited to have three speakers joining us at this event, Jackie Marshall-Cyrus (Jackie Marshall-Cyrus & Associates, InnovateUK), Kristina Barrick (Breast Cancer Care) and Sam Meikle (Spark The Difference).
Jackie will be exploring why some organisations appear to innovate with ease, whilst others struggle with the concept. Jackie is Director of Innovation Strategy at Jackie Marshall-Cyrus & Associates Ltd, and is renowned for thought leadership, experise on ageing, innovation, inspiration and inclusion.
Kristina will be speaking about her experience of developing an app which helps women cope after treatment, and how to take a service-focused innovation from concept through to live product on a shoestring. Kristina is Digital Innovation Manager at Breast Cancer Care.
Sam will be taking us through her inspirational Humans of Healthcare project. Sometimes we fail to see the men and women who work tirelessly to provide world class health and social care in a busy, challenging and constrained working environment. Sam created the Humans of Healthcare exhibition to start a different type of conversation about what health and social care means to people.
Hosted at Cancer Research UK in Angel, London this is a chance to discuss ideas, share experiences, solve problems and network with other Breakfast Clubbers who are innovating to improve lives.
Whether you work for a charity, social enterprise, start-up, educational institute, public sector or commercial organisation, we warmly welcome you to join the Social Innovation Breakfast Club.
Who says you can't change the world before lunch? Join us on 7th December 2016!
