When & Where
Pennine Prospects is a unique rural regeneration company. It is a champion for the natural environment of the South Pennines, a dramatic upland landscape that stands prominently above the urban centres of Greater Manchester, the Lancashire valleys and West Yorkshire.
The South Pennines is the only significant upland landscape in England that is not designated as a National Park or Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The South Pennines Local Nature Partnership will underline and emphasise the value and importance of this unique landscape and raise the profile of the South Pennines in local decision-making processes.
