In collaboration with the WEA, we have funding to run skills training courses for women who are deemed to be economically inactive. If you have suffered during the Covid-19 pandemic and you don't know where to go next, this can offer the support you need.

This 6-week course is for you if you are:

Have a long term health issue

A lone parent

A carer

Leaving domestic violence

Facing redundancy

And you are looking for a job, further education or self-employment

The course will look at:

Your existing skills

Problem-solving

New opportunities

Confidence building and communication skills

Available support

What next?

These sessions are run in small, supportive groups.

The course starts on Wednesday 4 November in Lancaster, and will run for 6 Wednesdays.

PLEASE NOTE, we are constantly monitoring the Covid guidelines and the safety of participants and trainers takes priority at all time. Thus, if needs be we will delay the start of this course in consultation with you.
