I’m glad you asked. This is the number one thing I see experts overlooking, and the one thing that will have the biggest impact on their ability to sell their services to the right people and for the right price.

It’s all about positioning.

Positioning is what makes you stand head and shoulders above your competition.

What allows you to reach the people you want to help.

Permits you to charge what you want for what you do.

Means you can live the life you want to live, with the people that matter to you.

Most people overlook it, which is why most people are a long way from super successful.

If that’s you, then I’ve got a harsh reality for you:

You need to get it over it.

Because if you don’t, you’ll always be dreaming and wishing that things were better, without them actually improving one iota.

Positioning isn’t some “natural born talent”, or something that requires millions of pounds or years of your time.

The right positioning is actually relatively simple to achieve, if you know what you’re doing and you have access to the right information.

How do I know?

I’ve been through exactly the same thing.

A few years ago I decided to take three years out of my business.

I’d done well with the life coaching stuff, but I decided I wanted to be a novelist.

(Long story, I’ll share it with you one day)

When I decided I wanted to return to coaching I hit upon a problem.

The market had changed. Heck, the world had changed.

I landed in a post credit crunch world where people were reticent to part with cash, and much less likely to spend money on generic life coaching services.

Even with my best-selling books and my notoriety, I struggled to sell my services, and struggled to build my client base back up.

I could get the odd gig, but not at the prices I wanted to charge, and not with the kind of people I wanted to work with.

It was then that I realised I needed to reposition myself. Which is what I did.

12 months later, my life was completely different.

Not only did I have a full diary with coaching and consulting appointments, but I was making more money than I’d ever made in my life before AND I was more fulfilled in my work than I’d ever been.
