We will hear what Perry and Kirsten think about their findings from this, and encouraging your interaction on what it means for organisations to evolve with sustainability.

Perry Timms

Perry Timms is the founder and Chief Energy Officer of PTHR - a growing consultancy in progressive HR/OD and the next stage of business evolution.

Perry is a proud Chartered member of the CIPD and in the top 10 of HR Magazine’s HR Most Influential Thinkers 2020 (his 4th year on that list). Perry is also on a range of top influencers lists in HR, Technology, HR innovation, Employee Engagement, HR Strategy and belongs to many of the most progressive communities shaping the future of work.

Perry’s specialisms lie in:

Perry’s 2017 book Transformational HR was an Amazon.com Top 30 HR seller shortly after its release and in 2019 voted as one of the top 100 Business Strategy Books of all time. A second edition has just been released which reflects the changes to HR as a result of the Covid-pandemic and evolving world.

His second book - The Energized Workplace - was published in August 2020, and shortlisted for the Business Book Awards 2021 in the HR & Management Category.

Perry is an Adjunct Professor at Hult International Business School and Ashridge School of Management; a visiting fellow at Cranfield School of Management and Sheffield Hallam University, a Fellow of the RSA and a WorldBlu Freedom at Work Consultant + Coach.

He is also a global and 2x TEDx speaker (having spoken in over 25 countries on HR and the future of work) and an award-winning writer in those areas.

Perry has featured in most of the HR publications in the UK and also in Poland, Italy, Slovenia, Kuwait, South Africa, Sweden, Greece and Turkey.

Kirsten Buck

Kirsten Buck is Chief Impact & Culture Officer at PTHR - a growing consultancy in progressive HR/OD and the next stage of business evolution, and a pending B Corporation organisation.

With a background in business development and strategy, helping to shape L&D and executive education programmes, Kirsten has now been with PTHR for two years. Her role focuses on the impact PTHR’s work has beyond financial return, researching the impact the HR profession has within organisations, and ensuring PTHR remain conscious citizens committed to sustainability.

Kirsten has shaped PTHR’s Sustainability and Impact strategies and separately, has worked using agile methodologies for 10 years.

Kirsten’s specialisms and interests lie in:

1. Sustainable, purpose led business

2. Agile and autonomous ways of working

3. Self-managed and remote-based teams

4. Organisation Design & Development

5. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Kirsten is a proud Fellow of the RSA, member of the EODF, and an avid writer; regularly contributing thought leadership and research pieces to publications for PTHR.
