Join this guided two-hour walk to meet familiar plants in a whole new way. Discover their ancient stories, learn the art of foraging, explore natural plant dyes, and reconnect with the rich botanical heritage that sparks curiosity and wonder.
To enrich the storytelling walk, Marissa will bring a dye swatch book so you can see the colours these plants create. You’ll also receive a follow-up email with a guide on making natural colours at home, including tools, tips, and sustainable foraging practices.
Please Note
Sensible clothing and footwear are recommended. This walk seeks out quiet, intimate places in nature, so we’ll be going off-path and walking up hills and steps. Please consider your comfort and mobility before booking.
This event is primarily designed for adults, but curious children aged 10 and above are welcome. As the walk is two hours long and includes historical storytelling, we kindly ask you to consider whether this will suit your child’s interest and attention span.
If you're hoping to bring a child and child tickets are sold out, please get in touch. If places are still available closer to the event, I’ll do my best to accommodate you.
Donation Tickets
Two donation-based tickets are available for those on a low income. If that’s you, please feel free to book one. I want nature to be accessible to all—please only use this option if it’s truly needed, so others can benefit too.
Reschedules & Cancellations
The walk will continue in all weather except storms. If severe weather is expected, you’ll receive a minimum 24 hours’ notice of cancellation, and the event will either be rescheduled or fully refunded.
As a small business, I kindly request 48 hours' notice for cancellations to offer a full refund.
