The Cyprus High Commission-Cultural Section cordially invites you to “The Story of Aphrodite”

Historian and broadcaster Dr Bettany Hughes presents a special screening of her landmark documentary The Story of Aphrodite. The film investigates the archaeology of the goddess’ birthplace in Cyprus. Join us to a fascinating journey into Aphrodite’s surprising origins, her enduring ability to inspire and excite successive generations across the millennia, and question your assumptions about the goddess of love.

Held under the auspices of the High Commissioner of Cyprus Euripides L. Evriviades in the presence of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Cyprus Ms Egli Pantelaki to celebrate the Cyprus National Day.

A drinks reception will follow
