About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours 30 minutes

On this walk, you may hear about: the Clan with no name, the farmer and his grateful guest and the man who was never satisfied.

Prepare to see Moffat as you've never seen it before

Who knows what you may discover on this walkabout?

Having spoken to Bill he doesn’t seem to know either but he has hinted that there may be some previously undiscovered revelations about the Beatles connection to Moffat.

Forget Liverpool and Hamburg – did you know Moffat had its own role in shaping the Fab Four's destiny?

Or so Bill reckons.

To be fair, having gone to the same schools as three of the Beatles (Ringo didn’t go to school), he sees himself as a bit of a ‘moptop’ expert.

Another of Bill’s passions is 14th-century accountancy methodology but hopefully he won’t be bringing that up on the walk.

All the stories are true... except the ones that are not.
