Science-led strategies to go from surviving to thriving. Regain control of the way your mind and body respond to stress
About this event
Stress is a fact of life, it has kept us alive for thousands of years. Yet in the modern world, where the pressure to achieve in every aspect of life is relentless, our stress responses can be overwhelming.
Establishing healthy, pro-active stress strategies can shift you from surviving to thriving. They will help you live a happier life with more energy, better focus & purpose, more connected relationships, and improved physical and emotional health.
Stress ultimately affects not only our own health, energy levels, emotional well-being but our relationships with family and colleagues, our performance at work, and our ability to find solutions to these issues.
We combine the latest research in neuroscience, psychology, and well-being with effective coaching techniques to change the way you look at the stress-producing events in your life, help you regain control of the way your mind and body respond to these events, understand the relationship between stress and wellbeing, and how to use these as the foundations to establish stress management strategies for those high-pressure moments and long term resilience.
You will learn:
- The 5 pillars of stress
- How to recognise stress
- The effects it has on all aspects of life - and why it is important to have a long-term strategy for minimising those effects.
- Understanding of how effective stress management can create opportunities for greater sense of purpose, better relationships, growth & resilience, increased focus and productivity (without more time pressure!), improved health and wellbeing.
- Easy ways to incorporate the techniques into your daily routine
- Use your new understanding of stress to drive you forward rather than define your limits.

This workshop will be run by
Charlotte Roden - Founder of Reset Leadership - Embrace Stress
Charlotte had a successful, 20+ year, a high-pressure career in Investment Banking, giving her plenty of experience of the impact of stress both personally and from those around her. A desire to understand WHY even mild stress had such an impact on wellbeing, relationships, and performance led her to retrain in Neuroscience and Psychology searching for solutions and strategies that could be easily integrated into busy, driven lives.
Embrace Stress was born from a desire to put you in the driving seat - harnessing the positive, motivating impact of pressure, but also discovering tools to help you thrive through adversity. Charlotte currently works as an Executive Coach with 1-1 clients and group workshops.
