This workshop is for leaders who feel like they're losing their grip on what 'success' really is.

You’re fluent in frameworks, in tools, facilitation methods, personality typologies. You lead. You hold space.

You know how to say just the right thing in just the right way, to just the right room, with just the right amount of authenticity, gravitas and humility.

You've made stuff happen. You built a nuanced view on the world and your work.

But something’s shifting.

Your clear sense of purpose has started to feel like performance. I mean, you’re still doing the work - but your language for it is quieter now. More internal. Harder to translate.

What I'd like you to be able to internalise is that you haven’t lost clarity. You’re starting to make sense of the world from a whole different standpoint.

There’s a model for this shift, and I've been studying it intensively for the past eight years.

It’s not neat. It’s not new. It's just a model.

But when people hear it, some things can come into focus.

In this workshop, we’ll walk through the stages of wisdom development, based on Kegan's work, especially the move beyond the Independent form of mind - into something more relational, more fluid, more felt.

Just because I know you don't want to be tied to just one model, we’ll touch on Torbert’s leadership development map as well. He says similar things but differently (in fact there's a bit of a polite Jets and the Sharks dynamic between the two schools of thought) and we'll look at where it overlaps with Kegan's, and why it matters.

More importantly, you can start to locate yourself inside a framework that doesn’t ask you to flatten what’s going on with you, but allows you to recognise the shape of where you are.

You might want to come if:

  • You’re doing meaningful work, but the identity that built it is softening
  • You’re tired of explaining nuance to people who hear it as vagueness
  • You’ve tried rest, breaks, new systems - and still feel like something’s dissolving
  • You’re noticing your language shift - and wondering if it’s clarity or collapse
  • You suspect you’re moving into a stage of mind that no one ever taught you to name

What you’ll walk away with:

  • Language for the shape of your current shift
  • An instinct of where you are on your development journey (plus what to do if you want to explore this more)
  • More compassion for the friction between you and the people around you who may not, ahem, hold nuance in the same way you do
  • Hopefully a subtle but real sense of 'oh, I'm not broken, I'm evolving'
