The Stuff Books Are Made Of: Paper, Parchment and Practical Bookmaking
Overview
Edinburgh Bibliographical Society would be delighted if you would join us for a day devoted to paper and parchment. In the morning papers on medieval paper and medieval parchment will be presented by Prof. Orietta da Rold, University of Cambridge, and Prof. Kathryn Rudy, University of St. Andrews. Following a sandwich lunch, there will be a practical workshop on pop-up books, led by Gen Harrison, of Edinburgh College of Art and Typochondriacs.
