About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

Join us for an engaging afternoon exploring the future of health and care data research in Scotland and across the UK.

This special Usher Connects event celebrates the appointment of Professor Cathie Sudlow as Director of the Usher Institute and builds on her influential publication, The Sudlow Review: Uniting the UK’s Health Data.

Cathie will open the session, followed by a panel discussion featuring specialists in health data, highlighting the opportunities and impact of recent UK-wide investments in data infrastructure. The session will include time for audience Q&A and open discussion.

The event will conclude with a drinks reception and networking opportunity.

Although hybrid, we encourage in-person attendance to visit the newly opened Usher Building at the Edinburgh BioQuarter - designed to support collaboration, innovation and impact.

This event is free to attend, but registration is required whether you intend to come in-person or join us online.
