Description

The Museum of London holds the world’s largest collection of material related to the militant Suffragette campaign. This talk by Beverley Cook, the curator of the collection, will reveal the origins of the collection and its key highlights.

Focusing on objects donated by some of the lesser known Suffragettes it will offer a unique insight into the militant campaign and the lives of those who faced imprisonment, hunger-strike and force feeding in their commitment to the cause.
