THE SUNDAY MELTING POT BRUNCH
Sun 11 December 2016, 12:00 – 15:30 GMT
Each of us can make a difference in the world we live in. So we, a group of inspired women, created the “Sunday Melting Pot Brunch”, a meal with a social impact.
Meet, mingle with other Londoners from the vibrant Borough of Brent and support a collaborative initiative for the community through our Sunday brunch.
Come to celebrate its cultural diversity. Start great conversations about traditions and customs. Be adventurous and try new foods, discover new tastes and ingredients through a healthy meal prepared by talented and ethnically diverse local women.
All food will be homemade from starters to desserts.
Our first event will be on Sunday 11th December 2016. Due to limited seating capacity, when purchasing your ticket, please choose one of the two sessions (either from 12pm to 1.30pm or 2pm to 3.30pm).
Our Ladies Chefs will compose a special meal inspired by Middle Eastern and Asian traditions. Desserts will be French. About the menu, we can already tell you that we will be cooking:
• Lebanese • Indian • French (for desserts) - The meal is suitable for vegetarians.
We will feature also the Brent-based charity organization called SUFRA NW LONDON. Through a community kitchen and garden, a food bank and a training program, they actively help local disadvantaged families. To have more details on the scope of their actions and new projects, log on to: http://www.sufra-nwlondon.org.uk/. They need our help so during that day, you will be able to support them through our Cake Sale and donations.
