Join walk leaders Peter and Hillary Turton and also local expert Graeme Anderson and discover the fascinating history of Chartist leaders James Williams and George Binns. This walk will take you through parts of the East End which still have connections to Sunderland's very own 'Freedom Fighters' seeking justice for all in the nineteenth century and attracting up to 50000 to the Town Moor to hear them.

The cafe at 17Nineteen will be open for hot and cold drinks, and sweet treats.

This is going to be a popular walk, so booking is essential!
