Event description

Description

Melissa Hemsley is a cook, author, British Vogue columnist and champion of sustainable, nourishing food and enterprises. This Autumn, Melissa embarks on the first of her series of The Sustainability Sessions; informative, engaging and optimistic live panel events to help all of us who want to leave a more positive footprint and embrace sustainability in all its many guises. These sessions aim to help you make the smart, simple choices that are better for the planet and for you too.

This event will see Melissa chat to broadcaster and presenter of War on Plastic Anita Rani, celebrated chef Skye Gyngell, award-winning writer and restaurant critic Grace Dent and Partnerships director at Ennismore and co-founder of LondonTheInside Jules Pearson. The panel will draw on their own experiences and share expert advice on topics such as sustainable initiatives in restaurants, the ‘wellbeing’ culture in hospitality, being smart with food waste and cooking seasonally. Plus we’ll discuss the fight on single-use plastic and how we should be purchasing with purpose when eating in or out.

Hosted at the beautiful Grade II listed Ennismore Sessions House, guests will enjoy drinks and nibbles on arrival, followed by this expert led discussion full of motivational stories that will fill your cup and hopefully leave you inspired. Guests will be invited to ask the panellists their own questions so come prepared and don’t be shy!

Tickets are limited and priced at £15 with £5 from each ticket sold being donated to The Felix Project.

Please note: Tickets are non-refundable and guests are subject to change.
