About this event
The Progress Group's Annual Colleague Conference has returned! This year, we’re celebrating the symphony we create together!
For those who have been with us for a while, you know the score. For our first time conference goers, welcome to the show!
Event details
🎶Roll over Beethoven…there’s a new symphony in town!🎼
Join us as we take the stage once more, for our second performance, at the iconic Everyman Theatre for an exciting event that will explore our future plans and the vital role that you play to help us achieve our purpose.
Get ready to connect with colleagues across all business units and hear from external speakers during a day of inspiration, innovation and imagination.
What to expect
We'll be putting on a performance of a lifetime!
During the day, expect to hear from keynote speakers, senior leaders, and your very own colleagues. In the morning, take advantage of the many perks available to you with our Marketplace, where experts will bring our colleague benefits to life and answer any questions you may have.
We'll dive deep into what makes our symphony hit all the right notes! From discussing our impact, plans for the future, and taking some time to reflect on your role in helping us achieve our shared purpose.
This year's conference is as much about you as it is about us, looking closely at each individual note and then bringing us all back together for our showstopping symphony!
Join us for a day that will have you cheering 'Encore'!
Frequently asked questions
Smart casual – keep it comfy, keep it you! Whether you're centre stage or in the audience, we want you to feel relaxed and ready to enjoy the show.
If you live around 1 hour 30 mins or more from Liverpool City Centre, you may be eligible for accommodation the night before the event (Wed 27th August). We want everyone to arrive feeling refreshed and ready to take part in our big performance - not rushing to make curtain call!
We know it’s not an exact science! While the general rule is around a 1 hour 30 minute travel radius from Liverpool City Centre, accommodation decisions are ultimately at your MD’s discretion. So if you think you should qualify - just let us know!
Absolutely! If you’re eligible for accommodation, you can choose to stay the night after the conference (Thursday 28th August) too. Prefer to head home after the show? That’s totally fine. Just let us know your preferences when you register.
If you’re eligible for accommodation, we’ll arrange your stay at a nearby hotel within Liverpool City Centre, a short distance from the venue. All the details will be shared with you closer to the time!
If you’re staying over the night before the conference, don’t worry - we’ve got it covered! You’ll be able to store your luggage securely in a manned cloakroom at the Everyman Theatre for the duration of the day.
No printed ticket is needed. When you arrive, simply give your name at the door - our team will check you in via the event app. From there, you’ll be directed to collect your name badge and begin your conference experience!
Only pre-selected speakers will be taking the stage, so no unexpected solos! However, we do encourage everyone to get involved in group discussions, ask questions, and share feedback throughout the day.
We’ll provide refreshments, a delicious lunch catered by Blackburne House, and plenty of tea and coffee to keep you in tune throughout the day. Remember to let us know any dietary requirements when you register. Feel free to bring along your own snacks/drinks if you prefer to have something specific
No need to bring anything specific - just yourself, your ideas, and your enthusiasm! We’ll provide everything you need for the day, but we recommend to bring a notepad and pen, or device for any notetaking needs.
Yes, we’ll have a photographer capturing moments throughout the day.

Doors will open at 9:15am. Please be aware that you may need to queue briefly outside, so come prepared for the weather and arrive with plenty of time to get checked in and settled before the event begins.
