The sYp House Band Presents: Yvonne Rogers
Brilliant young pianist Yvonne Rogers is a rising star of the vibrant New York jazz scene. In great demand as a side person, Yvonne performs regularly in groups including Ingrid Laubrock’s Lilith and the Adam O’Farrill Quartet and regularly performs in European festivals and clubs as a band leader/composer and side person. Her debut album “Seeds” was released in September 2023 to critical acclaim. Improvisation, play, and curiosity are core to Yvonne’s work.
Tonight, the sYp House Band, led by London’s own Tom Ridout, comprises some of New York’s most exciting jazz musicians all with impressive credentials, having performed and recorded with world class artists including Bill Frisell, Sullivan Fortner, Linda May Han Oh, Ethan Iverson, Joel Ross, Gilad Hekselman and Walter Smith III.
