Hastings legends The Tabs return to play Upstairs at the Carlisle, following their hugely succesful full-band return in January 2016.
The long-standing band returns with local legend and furious fiddler Garry Blakeley (Blakeley & Son, Feast of Fiddles) leading the charge with his outrageous fiddle playing; along with veteran Roger Flack (of Peter Knight's Gigspanner), who really lets his hair down at this gig (literally!) and delights the ears with some mind-blowing guitar playing.
They are joined by Garry's son Edd Blakeley (also of Blakeley & Son, and frequents with local legend Blair) on Banjo and Mandola. Roger Carey (Liane Carroll) on bass really needs no introduction; a hero on the local circuit, he provides his mind-blowing bass expertise for the evening and is ably supported by Roger F's son Adam Flack on drums. A superb rhythm section by anyone's standard!
Don't miss this rare opportunity to catch an amazing collection of local talent in a truly unique evening of super-group folk-rock-funk.
The entrance to the gig is on the west-side seafront entrance of the Carlisle pub.
All tickets £8.
